Petroleum Prices keep changing almost every month and consumers particularly transport operators and users are worried about the trend. The question is how do we as a nation address the situation especially when Ghana is an oil producing country. Can we refine our own crude in order to avoid the persistent price hikes? These were questions GBC’s Goerge Ankrah posed to Government’s Technical Advisor on Macro-economics, Energy and Petroleum Economics, Dr. Ishmael Ackah. He said there is the need for a stakeholders dialogue to push for the refining of crude at TOR.
Dr. Ackah said as a nation a decision must be taken on the viability of TOR despite the technicalities.
