WordWeb explains life as being “The course of existence of an individual; the actions and events that occur in living”. As we all strive hard to make it in life, there are conditions that are bound to come our way no matter how life is on our side.
- The downs – sorrowful moment, feeling lost, failing at certain tasks and many more will all drain the energy out of us when we need it the most.
- The ups – winning, joyful moments, feeling loved, are moment we all wished we could be enjoying till the day we die.
The question is how do we get rid of the downs in our lives as humans doing our best to make life easy? I have realized as imperfect humans as we all are, the downs are inevitable in our lives based on the expectations we all have for people, our selfish thoughts, and how events unfold as it climaxes every day.
I have also learnt that with the right people around us no matter their number, we can sail through the down times anytime any day. All relationships in our lives are vital since they all play a good role in keeping us afloat and giving us the experience we need to keep going. But one thing is the people we decide to have in our life are to be people who can lift themselves up as well when they hit rock bottom and are responsible people we can learn more from to better ourselves as well and to grow into helping others as well.
The relationships we have with our loved ones are the only reasons we will always be willing to confidently keep fighting and giving our all. So why not cherish these relationships we have as though tomorrow was our last with them and also do our best to make an impact on them when they hit rock bottom.
Remember, when we allow love to take charge of our daily dealings, we will be impacting not just our life but the world as a whole. Hug that one person if you have the chance now, tomorrow is never guaranteed.
