Tales of a Kyinkyinga seller

Suya, is African roast spicy skewered beef, mutton or chevron. This meat is irresistible, especially with a spicy peanut blend. It is sold on the street in some West African countries, including Ghana, where it is called kyinkyinga. This skewered meat is also made with innards such as kidney, liver and tripe. Its accompaniment is mostly alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. GBCNEWS spent some time with Shuaibu Ibrahim whose source of income for the past 35 years, has been from sales from Kyinkyinga. He shares some secrets into what goes into the production of this delicacy, in our series on “These Men”.
