On Thursday, November 12, 2020, there was disbelief across the country and even abroad, that Ghana’s longest serving former Head of State, Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings has transitioned to the world beyond. He passed on after a short illness at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital. Former President Rawlings, whose body will be interred this week, was a man of many parts, whose charisma endeared him to many. He equally had his fair share of people who did not see eye to eye with him. So we ask, how should the late former President Rawlings be remembered?
