Government has announced that the 2019 ban on the fishing season is already in force. This comes after a failed one last year (2018).
Speaking in Parliament, the Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aqua Culture, Ato Cudjoe said there has been enough stakeholder consultations this year to ensure a successful ban.
