The Christian Council of Ghana has expressed appreciation to government for allowing Christians to celebrate Easter this year. Last year’s celebration was canceled due to the pandemic.

The Council was however quick to add that Easter should be observed by Christians quietly while observing all the COVID-19 safety protocols.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, General Secretary of the Council, Rev. Cyril Fayose reminded Christians that the ban on public gathering is still in force.
