Calls for the re-engineering of the drainage system in Accra have intensified as parts of the city got flooded from heavy rains over the weekend.
This is because most developers have ignored the advice of engineers and built on waterways.
An Engineer, Ben Arthur told GBC’s Radio Ghana that dams can be built in some flood-prone areas to trap running water for agriculture and domestic use.
