The Catholic University College of Ghana (CUCG) at Fiapre, in the Sunyani West Municipality, says no student on campus has contracted the coronavirus.
A statement signed by the Registrar of the University, Emmanuel Kaba, said the alleged spread of the virus on campus is false.
The University authorities have therefore cautioned students to desist from circulating such false information and urged lecturers to be calm and go about their duties without anxiety.
The authorities also advised both students and staff to continue adhering to the COVID-19 safety protocols.
