Ghana is poised to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, before the 2030 deadline.
To end, a reporting platform has been launched to aid the processes towards achieving the feat.
The SDGs platform will serve as an avenue where data on various sectors can be accessed with ease.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, Minister of Planning, Professor Gyan Baffour said the SDG platform will allow for proper monitoring and planning as well as enhance transparency in both the public and private sectors.
Acting Government Statistician, Baah Wadieh said statistics form part of every facet of modern life and the basis of many governmental policies, business, community and individual decisions.
Therefore the platform will help disseminate the SDG data in an open, transparent and reusable format.
