The Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana, Ron Strikker, says Ghanaians must be prepared to pay realistic tariffs for the utilities they use.

According to him, illegal connection to utilities which lead to huge losses for both the Ghana Water Company and the Electricity Company of Ghana is a setback to Ghana’s development especially as the country seeks to achieve the ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ agenda.

The Ambassador made the comments when he inspected a community Water project at Fodjoku in the North Tongu District of the Volta region.
