Minister of Employment and Labour Relations nominee, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah has insisted that the government has created three million jobs in the last four years.

The Minister nominee who could not readily give the exact sectors said these jobs were created in both the public and private sectors. He was responding to questions during his vetting where MP for Bodi, Sampson Ahi asked for the number of jobs this government has created.

Mr Ahi disputed the three million figure on the basis that the Vice President had in August last year said the government had created two million jobs.

He questioned whether the government created one million jobs within one month.

The Minister nominee insisted he is ready to defend the three million figure mentioned any day.
