Krofrom explosion: NPA shuts down Gas filling station

The Public Relations Officer of the National Petroleum Authority, Anny Osabutey, says the Gas filling station which exploded two days ago has been shut for good to ensure safety of residents.
Mr. Osabutey told GBCONLINE that following the accident, the Authorities have decided that henceforth due diligence must be carried out before such filling stations are constructed.
Mr. Osabutey was speaking to Radio Ghana on the re-circulation of Gas Cylinder project in Kumasi.
He told GBC’s George Ankrah that the pilot project will take off next year.
