Kwame A Plus to contest Gomoa Central Parliamentary Seat as Independent Candidate.
Media Personality, Kwame Asare Obeng widely known as Kwame A Plus, has officially announced his intention to contest the Gomoa Central Parliamentary seat as an Independent Candidate.
According to the former staunch NPP Sympathizer, he is going to be the only Independent Candidate in Ghana’s Parliament come 2025 because he is confident about winning the seat.
“Anybody who wants to contest for the Gomoa Central Parliamentary seat must know that the Constituency is for us. If it’s about money, we have it. If it’s about influence, we can defeat you. The NDC and the NPP should allow me to go unopposed”, he boastfully stated.
He made this statement at the burial service of his father, Mr. Daniel Kwasi Obeng in Winneba.
He also called on anyone with political ambitions and wanting to compete for the Gomoa Central Constituency to shelve it and support him to win the seat.
“You can shelve your ambition of wanting to be an MP for the Gomoa Central Constituency and join me. I might help you to become the DCE when I win”, A Plus opined.
Kwame A Plus is known for his keen interest in politics and he was instrumental in the campaign for Nana Akufo Addo as President in the 2016 election which brought the NPP into government after 8 years of staying in opposition.
On the other hand, he has also been a vociferous critique of the current administration; speaking about his disappointment in the Akufo- Addo led government and how ‘not so good’ the country is being governed.
