Information reaching GBCGHANAONLINE has it that, the 2020 and 2024 Presidential candidate and leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Mr. Kofi Akpaloo, has been picked up from his Kumasi-based residence by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
Sources with his family in a media interview say they are yet to be informed of the reason for his arrest. His current whereabout is also unclear.
EOCO has not yet released any official statement on the arrest.
All attempts made to get the side or confirmation from the anti-graft agency have not been successful.
