The Bureau of Public Safety is questioning why reports and investigations into previous fires have not been made public as of now.

According to the Bureau, the unavailability of such reports is affecting the manner in which fires are tackled in the country.

In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Executive Director of the Bureau, Nana Yaw Akwada stated that until recommendations of such reports are made public for proper scrutiny, fire outbreaks will continue to be a huge problem in Ghana.

Mr. Akwada’s statement comes on the back of some fires recorded in the past two days.
