The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), has been tasked to coordinate the preparation of a nationalism strategy to help implement an international document on Disaster Risk Reduction, known as the Sendai Framework.
NADMO is to collate the ideas of participants who have just completed a five-day training of Disaster Risk Reduction (DDR) to prepare a national strategy.
In view of this, the Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery has called for collaboration from stakeholders for efficient implementation of DDR strategies especially for floods and droughts.
