The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has given the strongest indication that it will deal decisively with management of Alpha Lotto for operational violations and failing to admit those offences.
There has been a tango between the NLA and operators of Alpha Lotto following claims by the Authority that Alpha Lotto is operating illegally and fraudulently.
In an interview with GBC NEWS, Public Relations Officer of the NLA, Razak Kwadwo Poku, said while it is true the company operates with a valid license granted by the Authority, sections of its operations are illegal and at variance with the terms and conditions of the license.
Mr Poku said the Authority will sanction Alpha Lotto in accordance with the law.
