The Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Wa, Very Reverend Father Cornelius Bayirinuba says women have an important role to play in developing society and should be recognised in the decision making process.
The Vicar General said unfortunately a section of society still discriminate against women even when it comes to taking decisions that affect them directly.
He expressed this sentiment at the 10th anniversary of Saint Theresa’s Child of the Jesus at Wa in the Upper West Region.
