Takoradi missing girls: Court sentences accused persons to death

The Sekondi High Court has sentenced two Nigerian nationals, Samuel Udoetuk Wills and John Oji, to death for the murder of four girls in Takoradi in the Western Region.

The two were found guilty of kidnapping and killing by the jury and sentenced to death.

Delivering the sentence, Justice Richard Adjei-Frimpong, an Appeals Court Judge with additional responsibility as High Court judge, said “If you murder, you suffer death”.

They have been given 30 days within which they can to appeal the sentence.
