Minister for Planning, Professor George Yaw Gyan Baffour has challenged transport Operators to adopt proper road safety practices and control speeding, fatigue driving and substance abuse to address carnages on roads.
Speaking at the 2018 Ghana Driver and Road Safety Awards, Prof. Gyan Baffour noted that accidents are avoidable therefore drivers must strive to save lives to make Ghana’s road transport the safest across the sub-region.
