Beneficiaries of the Youth Employment Agency’s Youth in Afforestation Programme are threatening to embark on a sit down strike from Monday to register their displeasure over delays in payment of their allowances.

The beneficiaries numbering about two thousand have not been paid their allowances dating back in May this year.

This is making life difficult for them as most of them can hardly feed.
Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, the Public Relations Officer of the Concerned Beneficiaries of YEA, Sadiqq Abubakar said the sit down strike is the only way to register their displeasure.
