A driver who allegedly crushed 6 students at Ankaase in Krachi West is still on the run. The 6 Children were killed after they were knocked down by a car at Ankaase in Krachi West Municipality.
Information gathered indicated that the children had closed from school and were on their way home when the unfortunate incident occurred.
They were allegedly knocked down by a Toyota Saloon Car with registration number GR-2392-22 which was registered 2022.
The Driver has since absconded and Police are still searching for the said Driver.
Meanwhile, Police sources indicate that the six children died on the spot, during the knockdown leaving another who is receiving critical treatment at the Krachi West Municipal Government Hospital.
The bodies of these six children have been conveyed and deposited at the Krachi West Government Hospital Morgue by Officers of the Ghana Police Service.
The families of the children are reported to be gripped in shock and are yet to officially speak.
