To quell the activities of fraudsters, the Management Organization (NADMO), Coordinator for the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality, Francis Abeiku Yankah, says some residents of Appiatse are posing as victims of last Thursday’s explosion to benefit from relief items.
Due to this, the Organisation has set up a 17-member committee comprising six survivors who are indigenes of Appiatse to help coordinate the distribution of the relief items to the survivors.
‘He said the Committee was formed to help identify those who are not part of the survivors to ensure that the items donated are given to the real victims.”
