Members of Arise Ghana — a pressure group demonstrating against what it terms to be the “excruciating economic hardships” brought about by the “persistent and astronomical hikes in fuel prices,” have presented a petition containing their grievances to the Ministry of Finance.

Among their grievances were the need for government to take pragmatic steps to scrap the Electronic Transfer Levy, reduce inflation, curb the deteriorating Cedi and address the unemployment issues, among others.

Bernard Mornah spoke on behalf of the group.
