Former President and National Democratic Congress 2020 flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has begun a nationwide tour intended to thank Ghanaians for their votes in the 2020 Presidential polls.
The tour across all 16 regions will take place in phases with the first phase ending on Monday, August 23, 2021.
The first phase of the ‘Thank You Tour’ will see the former President visit the Upper East, North East, Northern Savannah and Upper West Regions.
A statement on the President’s website said, as part of the visit, President Mahama will meet with Chiefs and Queen mothers, hold meetings with religious and opinion leaders, address regional and constituency executives, and supporters of the NDC, and also interact with the media.
“[The tour] will start from the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga, continue to Walewale in the North East Region, and then to Tamale in the Northern Region.”
