The newly appointed Regional Director of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation’s Volta Star Radio, Mr. Franklin Agbenyo, has been officially introduced to the Volta Star Listeners and Callers Association in a brief but lively ceremony at the station’s premises in Ho, the regional capital.

In his address to the association, Mr. Agbenyo expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and pledged to work closely with the association to enhance the station’s image and audience reach in the region. “I am deeply honored to join Volta Star Radio. My goal is to build on the strong foundation laid by my predecessors and continue to provide content that informs, educates, and entertains. I encourage open dialogue with our listeners to ensure we meet your needs and expectations,” he stated.

He also assured the association of an open door policy to ideas and suggestions that will improve the fortunes of the station. He called on members of the association to serve as ambassadors for the station, helping to promote its values and reach within the region.

“As listeners and callers, you are the voice of this station in your communities. I urge you to be good ambassadors for Volta Star Radio, sharing our message of development, unity, and progress,” Mr. Agbenyo added.

The Chairman of the Volta Star Listeners and Callers Association, Mr. Moses Kobla Adrie, congratulated Mr. Agbenyo on his new role and assured him of the association’s full support in his administration.

“Our association is committed to maintaining a positive relationship with the station, and we look forward to working together to promote development in the region through constructive discussions and programs”, Mr Adrie remarked.

The event marked the beginning of what is expected to be a productive partnership focused on strengthening the station’s community ties.
