MP for Ketu South, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, is calling on President Akufo Addo to use his networks to have Ghana’s neighboring countries reopen their land borders. For her, having Ghana’s land borders opened while that of its neighbors remain closed will amount to nothing as traders on border Communities cannot go about their businesses.
Although President Akufo Addo has announced reopening of land borders, there are reports of challenges confronted by Ghanaians because neighboring countries are yet to open theirs to allow free movement. Speaking on BEHIND THE NEWS, Madam Gomashie said although it is early days yet, she will explore other avenues to have the President re-look at the development.
