Several thousands of job seekers today queued up from the EL WAK stadium in Accra to as far as the Ghana International School as part of a recruitment exercise into the Ghana Immigration Service.
The distance from the entrance of the EL WAK stadium to the Ghana International School is about 1.5 Kilometers.
The applicants will go through body screening and present their certificates for authentication.
Some of them interviewed by GBC’s Alan Tagoe on the GTV Breakfast show said they came from Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
A similar exercise for the Ghana Fire Service is also taking place at Fire Service Training school at Bukom, in the Greater Accra Region.
