The National Service Authority (NSA) has instructed all National Service Personnel (NSP) currently deployed to institutions under the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) to report to work.

The Authority, in a statement released on March 12, maintains that service personnel are not members of CLOGSAG, therefore cannot participate in the ongoing strike action initiated by the association’s administration.

According to the NSA, personnel serving in institutions under CLOGSAG are required to continue reporting to their respective places of posting and carry out their assigned duties.

CLOGSAG began the nationwide strike on March 9 2026, over delayed conditions of service. The association said several meetings have been held with government to settle these issues but there has been no positive result, only promises

The NSA also commended the personnel for their dedication and contributions to national development, urging them to maintain professionalism throughout the period of industrial action
