People of Ahwerase mark Odwira Festival committing to preserve values

Chiefs and people of Ahwerase in the Easter Region have held a grand durbar to climax this year’s Odwira Festival.

“High incidence  of teenage pregnancy is destroying the future of our young girls in Ahwerase”, the people lamented. 

None the less, this year’s Odwira festival is the best, says residents.

Preserving our culture is the right thing to do. 

Business is really booming at this year’s Odwira reports Gifty Adjei. 

The Chief of Ahwerase, Akuapim in the Eastern Region is targeting technology to improve the living standards of his people. 

According to Osaberima Prof Opare Adom, “best practices else have increased and facilitated growth and rapid development of Communities”. 

Osaberima Opare Addo made the comment in an interview with GBC News at Ahwerase Akuapim in the Eastern Region.
