The Salaga Divisional Police Command has arrested one of the principal suspects in the murder of the 90-year-old Akua Denteh at Kafaba.

Intelligence report from the Police indicates that a two man Police team from the Salaga Division was dispatched to Kejewu Bator, a fishing community.

It says the suspect, Latifah Bumaye, aged 33 was subsequently arrested, and is currently in Police custody. The suspect has been identified as the one who was torturing the deceased in the viral video.

Madam Akua Denteh was lynched by her attackers at Kafaba on Thursday, July 23, this year on the accusation that she was witch.
