The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation precinct of the Ring Road Central is notoriously becoming a soft spot for robbers using motorbikes.

Series of robbery attacks have occurred at the junction of Broadcasting House and the junction near the offices of the Teachers Fund in the opposite direction.

Just recently, staff of the Corporation had their valuables snatched away at night whilst waiting for vehicles after closing from work.

The robbery, hitherto at night changed to the daytime when Police Patrols started mounting surveillance at the junction.

Last Sunday, a female staff who had closed from the afternoon shift was robbed of her mobile phone by a miscreant on motorbike whilst waiting for a vehicle at the junction near the Teachers Fund Offices.

Workers of Alisa Hotel and other offices have similarly fallen victim to these motorbike robberies.

The broad day attack is becoming scary because the two junctions have become busy spots for several hundreds of workers and commuters who daily use the area.

The Police are entreated to intensify both daily patrols and round the clock surveillance of the area.
