The Senior Staff Association of the Universities of Ghana has declared an indefinite strike today, July 13, 2022 over concerns relating to Cost of living allowance (COLA).
In an interview with GBC NEWS, National Chairman of the Association, Isaac Newton said they are pressing for 20 percent COLA and outstanding interests relating to TIER Two pensions.
According to him some of their members have been denied allowances due them for the past six years hence their current decision.
