The Ghana Institution of Surveyors is calling on the government to fast-track the passage of the Surveying Council Bill. The bill aims to regulate the surveying industry, weed out unqualified practitioners, protect the industry’s reputation, and ensure quality services.

President of the Institution, Surveyor Kofi Obeng Ayirebe, made the appeal during the official launch of the 21st Surveyors’ Week and 57th Annual General Meeting in Accra.

The week-long event is on the theme: “Strategic Professional Collaboration as a Catalyst for Sustainable National Development”.
