The Western North Minister, Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu, says the government  campaign promise of One-District-One-Factory, (1D1F), is on course to create job opportunities for the unemployed  youth and also improve  the economy of Ghana.

According to him, about ninety (90) factories have been completed and will be inaugurated soon.

Mr. Aboagye Gyedu who was speaking in an interview with a Radio Ghana correspondent at Sefwi Wiawso, the regional capital, said a new cocoa processing factory is to be put up at Sefwi Wiawso with the support of a Chinese Company.

This, he noted, will help to add more value to cocoa and reduce post  harvest losses. It will also make the people in the Western North Region have direct and indirect benefits from the factory both informal and formal sectors.
