The Daily Graphic entreats Ministers, MMDCEs and political office holders to take a cue from the routine news conferences by the President and explain to the people government policies and programmes. The paper hopes ministers and MMDCEs will take the initiative and publicise development in their areas and make themselves available to the media to inform their constituents of the level of development in their jurisdictions. The Graphic encourages the President to continue this process with the view to deepening the democratic culture the country has chosen to their socio-economic lives of the people.

The Ghanaian Times shares the admonition by the Head of Retail Banking at the First National Bank Hannah Annobil-Acquah, to the public to spend cautiously so as not to create financial problems for themselves. The paper believes that the advice from the banker is timely and worth considering, given that festive occasions are not for spending competition but an occasion to celebrate in moderation. The paper urges the public to be cautious about the market landscape as they go to shop so that they would not be trapped into purchasing items that are unwholesome. The paper advices the public to be their own consumer watch and be more vigilant in the market. It urges the regulatory bodies to continue with the market surveillance to protect the consumer from unwholesome and poor quality products that make their way onto the market.
