The Daily Graphic calls on Christians to exhibit the peaceful nature of Christ during the Yuletide. The paper uses the occasion to appeal to areas that have pockets of conflict to reflect on the Christmas message of peace and settle all disagreements to ensure development of their communities. The Graphic appeals to the country’s leaders to be guided by the life of Christ and desist from acts that lead some of them to appropriating for themselves what belongs to the nation. It is only by this that the country can lead the fight against injustice and exploitation of the poor as shown by Jesus Christ.

The Ghanaian Times reminds Christians, as they celebrate Christmas December 25 of their role in national development, complementing government’s efforts in the provision of social services to the people. The paper commends them and urges them to pray and ask for God’s continual blessings for the good and prosperity of the country. It calls on Ghanaians to be security conscious to complement the work of the security agencies for an incident-free Christmas.
