According to the data, the situation improved by just 1% in the last five years.

In view of this, the Media Coalition against Open Defecation (M-CODE), and its partners, are holding a national symposium on the state of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in schools on the 25th of this Month.

Convener for the Coalition, Emmanuel Addai, in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana said the situation is dire and needs urgent intervention.
