Ten people have died after a passenger bus crashed into a truck on the side of the road in southeast Kenya.
The accident in Tana River county occurred last night.
The stationary truck, which was transporting construction material, had stalled on the roadside when the accident occurred.
Official statistics show that about three thousand people die annually in road accidents in Kenya, but the World Health Organization estimates the figure could be as high as 13 thousand.
