Joerik De Neve of Belgium has won the Grand Finale of the Tour du Cycling race in Accra, Ghana, crossing the finish line in a time of 1:18:44.950.
The 2.5km, 20-lap race saw De Neve edge out his Belgian compatriots Jonas De Schampheleire and Fil D’Heygere, who finished second and third, respectively.
The top four positions were dominated by Belgian riders, with Kasper Saver finishing fourth.
Daniel Bichimann of Obroni secured fifth place, followed by Souaila Ilboudo of Burkina Faso and Gabriel John Odum of Nigeria.
Ghana’s Victor Cudjoe Akpabli was the first Ghanaian to finish the race, showing resilience and determination.
Riders from several countries, including the Netherlands, Benin, Togo, and Nigeria, completed the challenging route for more than a week of riding accross three regions.
The event attracted government delegation, including Ghana’s Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, and Ghana Olympic Committee President Richard Akpokavie.

Stage winners and notable award recipients from the Tour du Ghana 2025 Include, Overall Winner: Bastian Dieti (Obroni team) – winner of the ultimate yellow jersey, best climber, and intermediate sprints.
Best Rider: Luuk Van de Meer, who was adjudged best rider and overall best breakaway.
Overall Best Team: Belgium showing collective strength

Overall Best Youngest Rider: Gandaho M.C. Charbel
