GCB Bank pays GH¢16.98m dividend to government

GCB Bank has presented 16.98 million Ghana cedis to the government as dividend for the year ended 2018.
The Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta commended GCB for its impressive support to the ‘One District, One Factory’ agenda.
The Ghana Community Network Services (GCNet) has also paid 20 million Ghana cedis to the government as its final dividend for the 2018 fiscal year.

This represents an increase of three million cedis from the 17 million cedis paid in 2017.

The payout was in respect of Government’s equity stake in GCNet held by the Ghana Revenue Authority.
