President Akufo-Addo has assured all Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that government has put in place a GH₵600 million soft loan scheme with a two-year repayment plan.

Persons who access these loans will have a one year grace period before beginning repayment.

He said as part of measures, he had also directed the Finance Minister to send to Parliament the Coronavirus Alleviation Programme (CAP), aimed at protecting households and livelihoods.
