Ghanaian domestic airline PassionAir has announced a reduction of up to 10% in ticket prices across all its local destinations, starting today, June 17, 2025. The announcement was made via the airline’s official Facebook page.
The fare drop comes in response to the recent appreciation of the Ghanaian Cedi against major international currencies. According to PassionAir, the move is aimed at ensuring customers benefit directly from favourable economic conditions.
“As the domestic aviation landscape evolves, we remain focused on offering competitive fares that reflect these changes,” the airline said in the Facebook post. “We are committed to making air travel more accessible without compromising on safety or comfort.”

The announcement is part of a broader campaign titled “Prices Dropped, Comfort Didn’t!”. This throws more like on the fact that service quality will remain unchanged despite the price adjustment.
PassionAir encouraged travelers to visit flypassionair.com or call the toll-free number 0800 221 221 to access updated fares and book flights.
PassionAir is a leading domestic airline in Ghana, known for its reliable service and customer-focused operations. Since its inception, the airline has connected major cities including Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, Takoradi, and Wa.
