Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has urged politicians to put aside differences and work together towards Ghana’s industrial development.
He emphasized that the country can only achieve lasting growth if industry-driven policies are supported by all governments, regardless of political party.
Debrah made this known during a visit to Nutrifoods Ghana Limited, where he led a government delegation to familiarize themselves with the company’s expanded operations and new production facilities.
The Chief of Staff commissioned an upgraded can-making line alongside the Minister of Trade, Agribusiness & Industry, Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, and other officials.
He praised Nutrifoods as a practical model for President Mahama’s vision of a 24-hour economy, noting that the company already runs multiple production shifts and sources most of its inputs locally.
Debrah expressed confidence that the government’s new incentives, such as the Export Drive Bill, will encourage more private investment, boost local production, and create jobs.
