Court orders for results of finger, footprint analysis of murdered GPHA Public Affairs Manager

The Tema Magistrate Court Judge, Mrs. Akosua Anokyewaa Agyapong, has ordered prosecution, headed by Inspector Beatrice Aryeh to furnish the Court with the results of finger and footprint analysis in the case of the murdered Public Affairs Manager of the GPHA, Mrs. Josephine Asante.

The prosecutors are to present the report by the next adjourned date.

Mrs. Agyapong urged them to remind the Forensic Unit of the Police Hospital, of the semen analysis and follow up on the autopsy results of the deceased and present copies to the Counsels.

Both counsels expressed worry about delays in the investigations. The first accused person Christian Agyei, a houseboy of the deceased is still on remand while the driver, Amos Apreku is on bail.

Counsel for the first accused person has reapplied for bail for his client at the High Court. The case has been adjourned to the 30th of this month.
