The Acting Director of the Ghana Institute of Languages, Mercy Bentsi- Enchill says government’s embargo on employment has affected the strength of the teaching staff because most of the staff have retired and others passed on.
She noted that this has one way or the other, affected the effective running of the school, since it is unable to recruit new staff to fill the vacant positions.
Madam Bentsi-Enchill made this known at the 17th Matriculation of the institution in Accra.
