Government says it is gradually phasing out the double-track system in Senior High Schools. What Government intends to do is to introduce the Semester Academic Calendar in JHS.

This came up during a media briefing in Accra.

Plans for reopening of schools were also announced.

“This time round JHS will be running semester programme. As we have always done, we make sure that the basic protocols are observed so there would be disinfection of all schools, provision of veronica buckets, soaps, hand sanitisers, and tissue papers to the schools,” Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa said.
