The Nkwanta Senior High School in the Volta Region has been closed down indefinitely.
This comes after some students chased out Teachers from the school for seizing and destroying their phones during a routine check of their dormitories.
The angry students started pelting stones at the teachers, smashed windscreens of schools buses and classroom windows and vandalised other properties, the Police Commander stated.
The Headmaster of the school, Paul Boafo Nyarko, gave an account of the incident. Boafo Nyarko, said after an emergency meeting it was decided that the school be closed down.
