Executive Board of France-Ghana Alumni Association created

In a bid to structure and promote the French language and create job opportunities in Ghana, a four-member Executive Board of France-Ghana Alumni Association, has been elected.

The Board is made up of a President, Dr. Florence Teiko Vanderpuye, a Vice President, Maurice Dodji Mawugbe, a Secretary, Makafui Dordoh and Treasurer, Ruth Fordjour. Speaking at the launch of the maiden Board organised by the French Embassy in Accra, the President, Dr. Florence Vanderpuye said the Board will promote initiatives that will benefit the France-Ghana Alumni community.

The French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sopie The France Alumni expressed satisfaction about the way the election was conducted saying it was free and fair. Ghana Platform seeks to bring together as many Ghanaian professionals as possible who once lived, worked or studied in France, to form a body that would facilitate international, economic, cultural and linguistic exchanges among members.
