The Ghana Adaptive Boxing Federation was established to promote participation in boxing among athletes with physical disabilities. Its mission is to create a more inclusive sporting environment, allowing athletes with disabilities to compete, develop their skills and gain recognition on both national and international stages. The federation’s efforts align with Ghana’s broader strategy to support adaptive sports and ensure equal opportunities for all athletes.
With this strategic move, Ghana continues to demonstrate its commitment to inclusive sports development, aiming to inspire more athletes with disabilities to pursue their sporting dreams. The government and sports authorities hope that such initiatives will not only enhance the visibility of para sports but also foster a more equitable and supportive environment for all Ghanaian athletes.
